Nils Kalstad Svendsen

I am head of the Norwegian Information Security Laboratory at Gjøvik University College, and hold my degrees from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (MSc) and from the University of Oslo (PhD).

As part of my tasks at Gjøvik University college I also lecture IMT1121 Introduction to Information Security and IMT1132 Risk Analysis. My research interests lies within the area of critical infrastructure protection, and an overview of my publications can be found in Cristin.

As I grew up and live at Nordre Kalstad with my family, I am obviously also interested in all kinds of farm related activities, and the spare time I have available is spent at the farm or together with my family. Currently this includes x-country skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, ice-hockey, hip-hop, dancing and swimming. My involvement in these activities is mostly limited to car driving, except for skiing where I am the president of Vestringen IL ski association.
